About this Retreat
Retreat Leader & Integration Specialist
A native of The Gambia, West Africa. Born and raised of Mandinka and Fulani heritage he comes from a generational lineage of holistic healers and community leaders. A avid student of esoteric sciences, cosmology and sacred ancestral medicines he serves as a guardian to the AYARUNA medicine family and leads the Ascending Soul Integration tribe.
Since Tapovan's teenage years, he was fascinated by the supernatural. He knew there was much more to life than what meets the eye.
He was eager to find out what lies beyond the ordinary perception so he started inquiring into the nature of existence through yoga and meditation.
This quest eventually led him to India where he studied with his gurus and enlightened masters for several years absorbing their infinite wisdom and compassion.
They kindled the smoldering fire within him which became a burning desire to know and to experience. He realized that he needed to fully dedicate his life to the path of self-discovery and help others also to reconnect with their own inner bliss and freedom.
Intellectual knowledge is always limited regardless of how much you know but inner wisdom has an infinite nature, it is boundless. It is the knowledge worth attaining because once you “know thyself” you understand the entirety of Creation.

Certified in Janzu therapies (water massage), Thai massage, biomagnetism and breathing therapies.

He started the path with the sacred medicines in 2006 initially with the church of Santo Daime.
After joining the Red Path, fire of ixachilatlan, performing different initiations as vision quests.
He continued his journey in Peru learning from the Shipibo masters.
Work facilitating at the Arkana Spiritual center since 2015.
Facilitation support at The Sacred Valley Tribe center, in Pisac, Sacred Valley.
Currently facilitating in One Breath of Yoga, Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Leading Ceremonies in Sacbe, Playa del Carmen and retreats all over Mexico.

We provide a variety of holistic healing modalities, including Chi Gong, transcendental breathwork, classical pranayama, yoga, ayurvedic and deep tissue massage, as well as traditional practices like Temazcal (sweat lodge) and ice baths. IMPORTANT PREREQUISITE!
As a participant, you cannot be on neuro-psychiatric medications, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) selective serotonin inhibitors (SSRIs) or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as antidepressants or anticonvulsants drugs. SSRIs, SNRIs and MAOIs, are not compatible with Ayahuasca and are therefore dangerous. To participate you must suspend taking them 3 weeks to 3 months before the ceremony depending on the type of medication. Please consult your doctor and us for more information.
