Maestro Darwin was born into one of the most powerful Shipibo healing lineages of the Shipibo-konibo community of Pahoyan, in the Peruvian Amazon.
Darwin is the son of Juana Silvano which is the niece of the well known brothers, Pascual, Gilberto and Benjamin, all members of the highly-respected curandero family, the Mahua family. Juana was raised by the uncles and was given their knowledge which she has passed over to Darwin. The Mahua Family are well known shamans for their strength, power and for their strong connection to the Noya Rao Tree (Tree of light) a Master Tree that lightens up our lives and path. Darwin’s Shipibo name is Rey Nima, “king of the plant world” which was given by the elders. As his name he has the strong ability to navigate plants through his profound Icaros.
Rey Nima felt his call as a healer at a very early age, at 8 years old he already started to participate in Ayahuasca Ceremonies. In his youth he started dieting Noya Rao, Bobinsana, Nihue Rao and Shihuahuaco which are his strong allies today. Darwin brings joy and humor during the day. During the night in Ceremony he is all about power and healing. He loves to work from the heart and help the participants to heal their hearts and find their inner power. He also values sharing the wisdom and knowledge with the ones that want to learn. Darwin also works with plant aromas and brings powerful Icaros that are channeled by the plant spirits.
He cares deeply about the healing journey of each and every person and brings great compassion and strength to our ceremonies. We are very delighted to have Maestro Darwin’s expertise, depth of wisdom and fun loving spirit with us in Espíritu Pandorita.
Gigi started her spiritual training in the Peruvian jungle, where she studied shamanic teacher plants and trees by doing dietas. Though born in Lima, Gigi’s heart belongs to the Andean Mountains. For the last decade she has lived in the Sacred Valley at the foot of the Pisaq ruins, not far from Cusco. Her offerings and songs are gifts from that time as well as her connection with Pacha Mama. Her passion is to help people form a deep connection with their own hearts. She takes in her guests’ wishes and intentions and uses songs and prayers to liberate the magic they carry inside. Gigi has hosted women’s ayahuasca retreats in Cusco and mixed groups in Tarpato and Costa Rica. She’s fluent in Spanish and English and will be there for you with love and patience throughout your stay. Always grateful for your presence and to your own heart medicines that each of you brings to the space and to ceremony of life.
Montserrat, devotes her energy to the service of our mother earth holding and honoring sacred spaces of ceremony. Her deep passion is to help to reconnect all beings to their true nature. With Compassion she watches over the participant and intuitively assists them when needed. She has a deep love for the plant world and the spirit of ayahuasca, she spent over a year in the Amazon jungle with shamans learning and witnessing transformative processes. She has as well been dieting with master plants that today are her great allies for the ceremonial work. She loves to dive deep into the unknown places in us, cleaning and transforming our inner soil, so the participants can afterwards plant and water the seeds of their hearts. She has trainings in the understanding of our nervous system and traumas, Certified Yoga teacher, Flow movement teacher, Permaculture designer, Spine Ayurvedic massagist and knowledge in herb medicine. Her loving heart, and joyful being will remind you that everything happens for a reason and that all is a process.
Aum Keita is a spiritual guide, Yoga teacher, meditator, life coach, permaculture enthusiast, eco-building architect specialising in treehouses, musician and singer with a great vision of making this world a peaceful and wonderful place for all the beings that live on it and for all those yet to come. His spiritual journey began as a child while traveling his entire life to more than 35 countries by learning the wisdom and knowledge from many wise masters and through his adventures. Apart from working many years with various sacred medicines, Aum has graduated a University masters degree in Yoga, Meditation and Holistic Health in India, spent a year practicing the ways of meditation from the Thai monks in Thailand and spent a year with the Shamans in the Amazon working with plant medicine and dietas. He is fluent in English, French, Tamil, Hindi and Spanish. He will be happy to be there for you and be part of your journey with his calm and loving presence.
Amalia hails from Alto Atahualpa deep in the Amazon forest along the Ucayali river, born into a family of healers. At the age of 20, she began her journey as a Medicine woman and midwife, inheriting wisdom from her elders. Amalia's gentle touch, embodied by her Shipibo name, "The feather that cures," shines through in her work. She brings the magic of flower baths, the essence of tobacco, and the power of profound Icaros to her healing ceremonies. Amalia has seen and experienced many things, and her gaze reveals a deep connection to Pachamama. Her essence radiates warmth, kindness, and unconditional love. She is a respected medicine woman in her village

In our lodge, an oasis next to the Golfo Dulce and in the National Park of Piedras Blancas in Costa Rica, we work together with traditional Peruvian Shipibo healers and sacred plant medicine. The Shipibos are famous for their knowledge and centuries-old healing tradition with medicine plants and teacher tree diets. We have a long relationship with various Shipibo families. All the shamans on Pandorita have also worked in our center in Peru 'Ani Shinan'. In our workshop we work with small groups.

Directions
We will meet you at the Port of Puerto Jimenez to ferry you into our little paradise (Boat trip to Pandorita is included). Pickup is at 10.30am on the first day of your Workshop. Drop off is at 8am on the last day of your Workshop.
Most international flights land in the capital of Costa Rica, in San Jose.
Most guests come to us from San Jose via a domestic flight to tranquil Puerto Jimenez. The flight can be booked via flysansa.com. It is a wonderful experience and takes 50 minutes. From the airport in Puerto Jimenez, it's a 10-minute walk to the meeting point at the harbor. There are also taxis.
Alternatively, you can rent a car at the airport in San Jose via alamo.com and return the car to Alamo in Puerto Jimenez. The drive along the Pacific coast takes around 7 hours. Most guests plan an overnight stay and make the journey in two stages. The Alamo staff in Puerto Jimenez will be happy to take you to the meeting point at the harbor.
We board our boat at 10:30 in the morning at the meeting point at the port of Puerto Jimenez and cross the Golfo Dulce. The fantastic crossing takes 30 minutes and with a bit of luck you will be greeted by dolphins and whales :-)
Our facilitators will send you a message via WhatsApp the day before the workshop starts, so you will be in contact in case of delays or other problems during the trip.

Cancellation of a booking will result in the loss of the entire amount paid, except in cases where medical problems identified by the guest and reported to Pandorita after the confirmed booking are deemed incompatible with participation in the workshop. In such cases, arrangements may be made to transfer the payment to a future date or to another person. However, the details of this transfer are subject to the following notice periods:
a. 4 weeks or more in advance - 100% of the amount paid is transferable; b. 3 - 4 weeks in advance - 80% of the amount paid is transferable; c. 10 days - 3 weeks in advance - 60% of the amount paid is transferable; d. 0 - 10 days in advance - 0% of the amount paid is transferable

The Pandorita Retreat takes place in a very loving family environment.
From the cooks to the gardener and the support team to the mastero, everyone is very concerned about the well-being of the guests.
The support team was available to us as a 24/7 contact person
The resort is surrounded by nature. The grounds are very well maintained and border directly on the jungle. Dolphins occasionally swim in front of the sea wall and you may encounter many native animals on the resort grounds.
Because of the ayahuasca ceremonies, the food is strictly regulated according to a certain diet in order to enhance the effects of the medicine.
The ceremonies are led by indigenous masteros from Peru. For me, the work and experience of the masteros was a very beautiful and exciting experience.
They were tireless in their love and care for the participants.
I had read a lot about the work of the shamans. During the ceremonies, all my expectations were far exceeded.
The ceremonies focus on physical, spiritual and ancestral healing.
During the ceremonies, the two supervisors and helpers of the Mastero were always present and constantly concerned about the well-being of the participants.
I always felt well looked after and cared for. Everyone was noticed and professionally guided through the experience with the medicine by the helpers of the Masteros.
In my opinion, the retreat was worth every penny and I would love to travel to Pandorita again straight away to deepen my experience.

Pandorita was a very profound, healing experience for me, it touched me deeply – and I am still in inner contact with this special energy from this special, wonderful place. The place is located directly on the Pacific Ocean within a peninsula, the sea is very calm and peaceful, just like the whole place.
I felt wonderfully looked after, the treatments and activities were great, the food was just right, naturally fresh, made with love and with the consistency needed for a respectful implementation of such a power workshop.
Our group was the focus, it was all about us and our process. I particularly noticed how everyone stepped back to give us the best possible experience and healing. I already had experiences, but they are not comparable to my experiences here on Pandorita. A lot of healing happened to me here that I could not have imagined.
